Beschreibung

A drawer full of loose zip ties is a drawer full of decisions nobody has made yet. The Tie Loom exists to end that specific small misery. Each bracket holds a working bundle of cable ties at the point where you actually need them, on a pegboard hook, a van shelf, a rack upright or the edge of a bench, so the next tie is a reach away instead of a rummage.

The construction is a plastic body with a polyester webbing band, which is the right material pairing for the job. The plastic carries the structural hold, the webbing loop keeps a bundle together without cutting into it, and the band is reusable, so you reset the bundle rather than replacing the organizer every time you pull the last tie out. There is nothing electrical and nothing to maintain, which is why these units outlive the tools they sit next to.

It ships as a single bracket or as a two pack, in black, red and yellow. The color coding matters more than it sounds. One color for the small ties, one for the heavy duty ones, one for the hook-and-loop straps, and a shared bin stops being a sorting problem. A two pack is the sensible first order because a single bracket always turns out to be in the wrong room.

Order is a tool. It just happens to look like a bracket.

What Sets It Apart

  • ✦ Holds a working bundle of cable ties within reach at the bench, rack or van wall
  • ✦ Plastic body with a reusable polyester webbing loop that will not cut into the bundle
  • ✦ Reset the loop when the bundle runs out, no replacement part required
  • ✦ Color coded in black, red and yellow so tie sizes stop sharing one bin
  • ✦ Available as a single unit or a two pack for a second station
  • ✦ No power, no adhesive cure time, no moving parts to fail
  • ✦ Small enough to mount where the work happens rather than in a cupboard
  • ✦ Works alongside pegboard, shelving uprights and rack frames

Where It Belongs

Electrical contractors mount one per van shelf so the ties used on a job never migrate into the wrong bin. Network installers keep a pair on the rack frame, one loaded with small ties for patch panels and one with heavy ties for bundle support. Workshop owners and 3D printing farms use the color coding to separate filament clips, cable ties and reusable straps without opening a drawer. Home users with a single server rack or a growing desk setup find that a two pack covers both locations, and the passive design means there is nothing to fail, charge or replace.

Questions Buyers Actually Ask

Q: How many ties does one bracket hold?

A: It holds a working bundle rather than a full bulk bag. The intent is a day or a week of ties at the point of use, with the bulk stock kept in a bin. That keeps the loop easy to reset and prevents the bracket from sagging under weight.

Q: Does it come with mounting hardware?

A: The bracket is designed to hang or clamp at the work point, so it mounts on a pegboard hook, a shelf edge or a rack upright without drilling into anything load-bearing. Fixings are not included because the right fixing depends entirely on where you mount it.

Q: Can I use it with reusable hook-and-loop ties?

A: Yes. The webbing loop is smooth and will not snag hook-and-loop material, so it works with nylon cable ties and reusable fabric ties alike.

Q: What is the difference between the single and the two pack?

A: The single bracket is one unit in black unless a color is selected. The two pack ships two brackets in the same order, which is the practical choice because most work areas need at least two sizes of tie within reach.

Q: Is it strong enough for heavy duty ties?

A: For heavy ties, use a two pack and dedicate one bracket to the larger size so the bundle stays thin. The plastic body is designed for a working bundle, not for a full commercial spool.

Q: How do I clean it?

A: Wipe the plastic body with a dry cloth. The webbing band can be rinsed and air dried. There are no electronics, so no further maintenance is required.

Two pack was the right call

Bought the two pack, one on the server rack and one at the desk. Having them color coded means the small ties stop migrating into the big bin. Nothing to charge, nothing to break, which is exactly what I wanted.

Does the job, no fixings included

Holds a week of ties at the bench and the plastic does not flex when I pull one out. Docking a star because it arrives without any screws or hooks, so you need to plan the mount before it is useful.

Solved a problem I had stopped noticing

Mounted one on the van shelf with the red band for small ties and the yellow for the heavy ones. I have stopped digging through a bag on every job. The webbing loop resets in a second when the bundle runs out.
