Description

There is a specific kind of dirt that only exists in cars: grit in the seat rails, sand in the footwell mat, crumbs in the gap beside the handbrake, dog hair woven into the boot carpet. A household vacuum cannot reach it and a garage visit is disproportionate. What the job actually needs is a light, cordless tool that lives in the door pocket and gets used for ninety seconds at a time.

This is that tool at 95000Pa of suction, in an ABS body weighing 535 grams and measuring 21 by 16 by 6.5 centimetres. The number that matters is the weight, not the suction figure: a handheld vacuum is judged by whether you pick it up for a small mess, and every extra hundred grams is another reason to leave it in the boot. At this size it reaches the seat rails, the console gaps and the boot sides without the hose gymnastics a corded machine demands.

The cordless argument is the whole argument. No cable means no hunting for a socket in a car park, no dragging a cord across paintwork, and no reason to postpone the job. The trade is runtime, which is why the unit is designed around short bursts: a few minutes of high suction clears a footwell, then it goes back in the pocket and onto the charger. For a full interior detail, a corded machine still wins; for the weekly tidy that keeps a car from becoming a health hazard, this is the tool that gets used.

Build and certification are the parts worth checking on any cordless tool sold at this price. The ABS housing survives being dropped on a driveway, the certifications on the label are FCC, CE and CCC rather than a decorative badge, and the filter is washable, which is the difference between a vacuum that still works in six months and one that has lost its suction to a clogged element. Charge it before first use, hold the button for three seconds to start, then press again to move up the power levels.

A clean car is not a weekend project. It is ninety seconds with the right tool, once a week.

Key Features

  • 95000Pa suction Enough draw to lift grit out of carpet pile and sand out of seat rails rather than skating over them.
  • 535 gram body Light enough to keep in the car and reach for a small mess, which is the only reason a handheld gets used.
  • 21 x 16 x 6.5 cm A footprint that fits a door pocket, a console tray or a glovebox without displacing anything useful.
  • Cordless operation No socket, no cable across paintwork, no reason to postpone the job until the car is at home.
  • Multi-level power Short press cycles through power levels, so high suction is spent on the footwell and low on a keyboard.
  • Washable filter A rinseable element keeps suction steady; a disposable one quietly strangles the motor over months.
  • ABS housing Rated for the drop onto a driveway that every car vacuum eventually takes.
  • FCC, CE and CCC certified Certification on the label rather than in the marketing copy, which matters on anything with a lithium cell.

Where It Belongs

This is the vacuum for the console of a car that gets cleaned weekly rather than annually, for the taxi or ride-share driver clearing the rear bench between fares, and for the desk with a keyboard full of crumbs. It suits the parent dealing with a child seat, the dog owner fighting hair in the boot, and the workshop bench where swarf and dust accumulate faster than anyone wants to sweep. It is not a replacement for a full-size machine; it is the reason the full-size machine is needed less often.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is 95000Pa realistic?

A: It is the peak figure at the inlet, which is how cordless vacuums are marketed across the category. Real-world pickup depends on the seal at the nozzle and the state of the filter, so keep the filter clean and expect the highest number for short bursts.

Q: How long does the battery last?

A: Enough for several short sessions rather than one long detail. This is a ninety-second tool used often, not a machine for a full valet. Charge it after use and it will always be ready.

Q: How do I turn it on?

A: Charge it fully first, then hold the power button for about three seconds to start. A short press after that cycles the power levels.

Q: Will it pick up pet hair?

A: Yes, on upholstery and carpet, with the nozzle pressed into the pile. Long hair wraps the brushless inlet, so clear it rather than letting it build up.

Q: Can I wash the filter?

A: Yes. Rinse it, let it dry completely, and refit. Fitting a damp filter is the fastest way to make a working vacuum smell like a pond.

Q: Does it come with accessories?

A: The nozzle set depends on the option selected at checkout. Check the option description for the attachments included in that configuration.

Q: Is it safe to leave in the car?

A: The ABS body handles heat far better than the cell inside it does. Do not leave it on a dashboard in direct summer sun; a door pocket or the boot is the right home.

The three-second hold confused me

Nothing wrong with the unit, I just did not read the note. Charge it fully, then hold the button for three seconds to start, then short presses change the power level. It picked up dog hair out of the boot carpet with the nozzle pressed in.

Suction is good, runtime is short

95000Pa is the peak figure and it clears a footwell without drama, but you get short bursts rather than a whole interior. For a weekly tidy it is exactly right. For a full valet, still use the corded machine.

Lives in the door pocket, gets used

535 grams is light enough that I actually take it out at the petrol station instead of driving home for the garage vacuum. Clears grit from the seat rails and the mat channels in about two minutes. Filter rinse is quick and it keeps suction.
