Descrizione
Most batteries do not fail. They are replaced on suspicion, one winter before they would have failed, because nobody could measure the difference between a weak cell and a cold morning. The Cell Auditor exists to remove that uncertainty: a 6V and 12V analyzer that reads the battery itself rather than the symptoms, on a colour TFT display, without an internal battery of its own to keep charged.
The instrument covers the three questions that actually matter at the bench. State of health answers whether the battery is still worth keeping. Cranking performance answers whether it will turn a cold engine at the first attempt. Charging system results answer whether the alternator or the charger is damaging a healthy battery in the first place. Reading all three in sequence converts a guess into a record, and an instruction to replace becomes a decision with evidence behind it.
It runs from the vehicle: the analyzer needs no internal cells, taking 6 to 16 volts from the system under test and working across an operating range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. Eleven languages cover English, German, French, Dutch, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Korean and Portuguese, which matters in workshops where the tool travels between technicians and markets.
Measure the battery. Stop replacing the suspicion.

Bench and Roadside Use
A workshop uses it at the service desk to justify a warranty replacement with a printed number instead of a shrug. A used-car inspection uses it to separate a tired battery from a tired alternator before the buyer asks. A fleet depot walks the yard once a month and catches the two batteries that will not survive the season. A motorcycle owner with a 6V system uses the same instrument, which is the practical reason the range extends below 12 volts at all. In each case the tool answers a question the vehicle cannot answer about itself.
Diagnostic Questions
Q: Does it need to be charged before use?
No. The analyzer takes its working power from the battery or vehicle system under test, so there is no internal cell to maintain and no risk of finding a flat diagnostic tool when you need it most.
Q: What does the 2000CCA figure mean?
CCA is cold cranking amps, the current a battery can deliver at low temperature for a defined interval. The instrument's test scale reaches up to 2000CCA, covering passenger cars, light commercials and larger 12V installations.
Q: Can it test a battery out of the vehicle?
It reads voltage and behaviour through the terminals, so a battery removed from the vehicle can be tested as long as it holds enough charge to power the analyzer through the test sequence.
Q: Which languages are supported?
Eleven: English, German, French, Dutch, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Korean and Portuguese. The selection is made in the device menu, not through a separate regional firmware.
Q: Is it suitable for motorcycles and 6V systems?
Yes. Coverage explicitly includes 6V systems alongside 12V, which is what makes it useful for classic motorcycles, small tractors and older equipment that a 12V-only tester cannot address.
Q: What is the difference between cranking and charging tests?
The cranking test measures the voltage drop while the starter turns, which reveals whether the battery can deliver current under load. The charging test measures the alternator's output while the engine runs, showing whether the battery is being replenished properly or overcharged.
