A computer case is an argument between heat and noise, and the fan is the referee. Most cheap fans settle that argument badly, either pushing air with a whine or staying quiet while the components cook. The Turbofan 120 aims the middle: 800 to 1800 revolutions per minute under PWM control, twenty five decibels at full tilt, and enough static pressure to move air through a radiator rather than around it.

The design detail worth understanding is the reflective ring. It sits around the blade tips and rotates with the seven blades, gathering the airflow into a straight beam instead of letting it fan out and lose pressure against the case mesh. That is what makes this fan work on a CPU tower, a water cooling radiator and a chassis mount with the same part number. Twenty-four addressable ARGB beads sit inside the frame, each individually controlled across 16.8 million colours, and the 5V three-pin connector syncs with the addressable headers on ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock boards.

The bearing is hydraulic, with a larger oil reservoir than a sleeve design and a working life rated at fifty thousand hours. Fasteners and the ARGB cable come in the box, and the fan is available as a single unit or in sets of two, three, four, five and six, in black or white, so a case can be filled in one order rather than five.

Air moves where it is pointed. Point it properly.

Key Features

  • ✦ 120mm frame with seven blades and a rotating reflective ring for focused airflow.
  • ✦ PWM control from 800 to 1800 RPM, following the motherboard temperature curve.
  • ✦ Twenty-four addressable ARGB LEDs with 16.8 million colour control.
  • ✦ 5V three-pin ARGB header, compatible with Aura Sync and the other major lighting systems.
  • ✦ Hydraulic bearing with a rated life of 50,000 hours.
  • ✦ 25 dBA noise level at full speed, for builds that sit on a desk.
  • ✦ CE certified, available singly or in sets of two to six, in black or white.

Where It Belongs

Air cooled builds that need a quiet exhaust fan behind the CPU tower, water cooled loops where radiator fins demand static pressure rather than raw airflow, and cases with glass side panels where the lighting is part of the design. Upgrading a prebuilt machine is the other common use, because replacing one noisy stock fan with three of these is the cheapest way to make a desktop disappear from the room acoustically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I control the fan speed?

Yes. The fan is PWM controlled between 800 and 1800 RPM, so it follows the temperature curve set in the motherboard software rather than running at a fixed speed.

Q: Will the lighting work with my motherboard?

The 5V three-pin addressable connector syncs with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock Polychrome headers. If your board uses a 12V four-pin RGB header, the fan will still run, but the addressable lighting needs a 5V header or a separate controller.

Q: What is a hydraulic bearing?

It is a bearing with an oil reservoir around the shaft, which keeps friction and noise lower than a plain sleeve design and gives this fan a rated life of 50,000 hours.

Q: How loud is it?

The rated noise level is 25 dBA at full speed. Under a typical PWM curve the fan spends most of its time below that.

Q: Where can I mount it?

It fits CPU coolers, water cooling radiators and standard 12cm chassis positions, and the reflective ring design targets static pressure, which is what radiator fins and dust filters need.

Q: Can I buy a set instead of a single fan?

Yes. The fan is offered in sets of one to six pieces, in black or white. Choose the quantity from the options before adding the item to your basket.

The EastSupplier Promise

Each fan is checked before dispatch and shipped with tracked delivery. Because lighting control depends on the headers your motherboard carries, our team will confirm 5V ARGB versus 12V RGB compatibility from your board model before the order ships.

Bought six, no complaints except cable length

Filled a full tower with six and the airflow is strong while staying quiet. The cables are adequate but tight in a large case if you are routing behind the tray. Lighting and speed control both work exactly as advertised.

Colour control works on a mid range board

I have a mid range motherboard rather than a premium one and the 5V header picked up the lighting without trouble. Addressable effects work per LED rather than as a block, which is what I wanted. Cables are long enough for a mid tower.

Good pressure on a radiator

Used two on a 240mm radiator and one as exhaust. Temperatures dropped a few degrees compared with the stock fans and the noise went down at the same time, which I did not expect. The four pin PWM follows the curve properly.

Quiet and the lighting is smooth

Bought three for a glass side panel build. They run quiet enough that the machine is no longer noticeable in the room, and the ARGB syncs with the board header without any adapter. The reflective ring does seem to push air where it is pointed.
