the-turbofan-120-argb-pwm-case-fan
The Turbofan 120 | 12cm ARGB PWM Case Fan with Hydraulic Bearing

A computer case is an argument between heat and noise, and the fan is the referee. Most cheap fans settle that argument badly, either pushing air with a whine or staying quiet while the components cook. The Turbofan 120 aims the middle: 800 to 1800 revolutions per minute under PWM control, twenty five decibels at full tilt, and enough static pressure to move air through a radiator rather than around it.

The design detail worth understanding is the reflective ring. It sits around the blade tips and rotates with the seven blades, gathering the airflow into a straight beam instead of letting it fan out and lose pressure against the case mesh. That is what makes this fan work on a CPU tower, a water cooling radiator and a chassis mount with the same part number. Twenty-four addressable ARGB beads sit inside the frame, each individually controlled across 16.8 million colours, and the 5V three-pin connector syncs with the addressable headers on ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and ASRock boards.

The bearing is hydraulic, with a larger oil reservoir than a sleeve design and a working life rated at fifty thousand hours. Fasteners and the ARGB cable come in the box, and the fan is available as a single unit or in sets of two, three, four, five and six, in black or white, so a case can be filled in one order rather than five.

Air moves where it is pointed.
