説明

Cupping used to require an open flame and a steady hand. The flame was never the therapeutic part. The Meridian replaces it with a small electric pump that reads the pressure inside the cup and adjusts suction in real time, which is what makes the pull feel like breathing rather than a hard vacuum. Three tools collapse into one housing, negative pressure cupping, scraping and vibration massage, so a treatment that used to need a table, a lighter and four hands now needs one hand.

Two modes cover the range of that work. The deep negative pressure mode opens by default and holds a strong, stable seal; the soothing breathing mode cycles the suction so the tissue is drawn and released instead of clamped. Each mode runs across twelve suction levels and twelve red light heating levels, controlled independently, which matters because a shoulder will take a level that a neck will not. The built-in twenty minute timer starts with the unit and shuts it down automatically, so a session cannot run indefinitely because someone fell asleep.

The housing is ABS with a silicone contact ring, weighs 351 grams, and charges over USB Type-C with the battery included. It is CE certified and packs into a 17.8 by 13.3 by 8.6 centimetre case that fits a gym bag. Red is the only finish, which is a small mercy for anyone who has lost a black device in a black bag.

The body keeps its own ledger of tension. This is how you read it.

Where It Belongs

Physiotherapists and massage therapists use it as a portable adjunct between appointments, because the breathing mode lets them treat a client without standing over a fixed table. Athletes and lifters keep one in a kit bag for post session work on the back, glutes and calves, where the deep mode holds a seal on dense tissue. Desk workers use the lower suction levels along the neck and shoulders in the evening, and the twenty minute timer makes it a routine rather than an open ended session. Beauty studios add it to a facial protocol for jaw and cheek drainage, and because there is no flame or glass, it is also the version of cupping a first time user is willing to try alone at home.

Questions Buyers Actually Ask

Q: Does it hurt?

A: A cup at a high level on dense tissue feels like a firm pull, not pain. Start at level three or four on the neck and shoulders, hold for two or three minutes, and increase only after the skin has relaxed. The breathing mode is the gentler entry point because the suction releases on a cycle.

Q: How long should a session run?

A: The unit shuts itself off at twenty minutes. For a single area, eight to twelve minutes at a moderate level is the usual working range. Leaving a cup parked in one spot for the full cycle is unnecessary and can leave deep marks.

Q: Will it leave marks?

A: Yes, cupping leaves circular marks that fade over three to seven days. They are expected and not a sign of injury. Lower suction levels and shorter dwell times reduce both the intensity and the duration of the marks.

Q: Who should not use it?

A: Anyone with broken or irritated skin, a bleeding disorder, active inflammation, or who is pregnant should not use cupping without medical advice. Do not apply it over the spine itself, the front of the throat, or varicose veins. If you are on blood thinning medication, ask your doctor first.

Q: Does the heating function get hot?

A: The red light heating has twelve levels and is designed to warm the tissue, not to burn it. Begin at the lowest level and let the skin adapt. Because the seal is warm and closed, check the area between sessions rather than leaving one cup in place.

Q: What is in the box?

A: One massager, a USB Type-C charging cable and the fitted case. The battery is built in, so no separate cells are needed.

Lives in my treatment bag now

I run a small physio practice and this replaced a glass cup set that needed a flame. No marks on the equipment, no burnt fingers, and clients tolerate the breathing mode better than static cupping. Charging over USB C is a small detail that matters on the road.

Strong suction, respect the levels

Levels one to four are all I need on shoulders and the seal holds without slipping. Left a cup parked on my calf for too long on the first try and the mark lasted five days, so follow the timing advice. Heating is gentle rather than hot.

The breathing mode is the difference

The cycling suction is what makes this usable on a neck. A static cup at level eight is too much for me, but the breathing mode at six feels like a massage rather than a clamp. The twenty minute cutoff means I actually stop.
