Description
Every analogue stick dies the same way. Two potentiometers wipe across a resistive track thousands of times an hour, the carbon wears, and the voltage the controller reports stops matching the position of your thumb. Nothing breaks. The stick simply begins to lie, at first by a degree and eventually by enough that your aim drifts while your hands are still. It is the most common failure in modern controllers and it is entirely mechanical.
Hall effect sensing removes the wear instead of compensating for it. There is no wiper and no resistive track: a magnet moves with the stick, a sensor reads the field, and the position is reported without anything physically rubbing away. Eight years of thumb movement does not change the reading because there is nothing to wear down. That is the whole argument for this controller, and it is the reason the sticks in the Ultimate 2C are the last part of it you will think about.
The rest is deliberately conventional, which is a compliment. Membrane ABXY buttons with a positive, familiar throw. Recalibrated tactile bumpers and a clicky d-pad that reads cleanly without feeling brittle. Two extra rear buttons, R4 and L4, remappable on the controller itself with no software and no phone app between you and the change. Connection over 2.4G, Bluetooth or USB-C to PC, Android, Steam and Raspberry Pi. Six colourways, from Mint and Peach to the deeper Brownie and Blueberry, in single or two-pack bundles.
Buy it once. The part that usually fails first no longer exists.
Control Architecture
- ✦Hall effect analogue sticks with magnetic sensing and no resistive wiper, so the drift caused by physical wear cannot develop.
- ✦GuliKit stick sensor module, the same Hall effect technology used in dedicated anti-drift retrofit kits.
- ✦Membrane ABXY buttons with a conventional, positive throw rather than a shallow trigger-style action.
- ✦Recalibrated tactile bumpers and d-pad: clicky enough to confirm input, smooth enough for long sessions.
- ✦R4 and L4 rear buttons remappable directly on the controller, with no software and no companion app required.
- ✦Triple connectivity over 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth and USB-C, covering PC, Android, Steam and Raspberry Pi.
- ✦Six colourways: Mint, Peach, Green, Purple, Brownie and Blueberry, available as a single unit or a two-pack.
- ✦No RGB lighting on the sticks, which keeps the shell clean and the battery draw to the parts that matter.

Who It Suits
The obvious buyer is someone whose last controller developed stick drift and who would rather not repeat the experience every eighteen months. The second is a Steam Deck or Raspberry Pi user who wants a dedicated pad rather than reaching for the handheld itself, and who values the 2.4G dongle because Bluetooth latency on a small machine is a real annoyance. The third is a two-player household: the two-pack exists because buying a pair one at a time costs more, and because a shared console needs two identical pads with the same stick feel rather than one good controller and one spare.
Setup and Compatibility
Q: Does Hall effect actually stop stick drift?
It stops the drift caused by mechanical wear, which is the overwhelming majority of real-world cases. There is no resistive track being scraped and no potentiometer to degrade, so the reading does not change as the controller ages. Physical damage from a drop is still physical damage.
Q: Which platforms does it work with?
PC running Windows 10, Android, Steam and Raspberry Pi, over 2.4G, Bluetooth or USB-C. Steam Deck works as a PC target. Nintendo Switch is not among the listed platforms, so do not buy it expecting native Switch support.
Q: Do I need software to remap the rear buttons?
No. R4 and L4 are remapped on the controller itself, which means the mapping travels with the pad to any machine you plug it into rather than living in a profile on one PC.
Q: What is the difference between the 1PCS and 2PCS options?
One controller or two. The internals are identical. The two-pack exists for households running local multiplayer, where two pads with the same stick response matter more than two different controllers.
Q: Can it be used wired?
Yes, over USB-C. Wired is the sensible choice for a desktop setup where latency and charging both stop being questions.
Q: Why do the colours matter beyond looks?
They do not affect performance, and that is the point. Mint, Peach, Green and Purple are the lighter shells; Brownie and Blueberry are the darker ones. Pick on the shelf, not on the spec sheet.
Q: Is there RGB lighting?
No. The stick rings are not lit. That is a deliberate choice: less to drain, less to fail, and a shell that does not glow in a dark room while you are trying to watch the screen.
