Description

A Line Is a Decision. Pressure Is How You Make It. Digital drawing lives in the space between an idea and its mark, and the stylus is the only thing standing in that space. A pen that needs charging introduces a ritual before every session, and a pen that loses pressure sensitivity flattens a drawing into a cartoon of itself. The ArtPaint AP32 removes both problems at once. It is battery-free, drawing its power entirely from the tablet field, and it reads 8,192 levels of pressure so a light sketch and a hard line come from the same hand without changing tools.

The pen is compatible with GAOMON graphics tablets including the S620, S630, S830, M106KPRO, M10KPRO, M1220, 1230 and PD2200. It is not compatible with phones, PCs, iPads or tablets from other brands, so owners of the listed models are the intended audience. Two programmable express keys sit where the thumb naturally rests and can be mapped to shortcuts or paired with the nib to trigger functions mid-stroke. Eight replacement nibs and a nib clip are included, so a worn tip is a two-second swap rather than a new purchase, and a silicone grip covers the holding area to keep long sessions comfortable.

The battery-free design matters more than it sounds. Without a cell, the pen is lighter, the balance sits closer to the hand, and there is no cable or cradle to remember before a deadline. It suits illustrators, retouchers, note-takers, and anyone who owns a GAOMON tablet and wants a spare or replacement pen that behaves exactly like the original.

Replacing a worn stylus is one of the small maintenance tasks that quietly determines how a drawing feels. A blunt nib drags, feathers the line, and eventually scratches the surface it is meant to glide across. Because a spare pen is always a better answer than a rushed repair before a deadline, keeping one in the drawer means a failed tip never becomes a lost evening. It is the least glamorous purchase a tablet owner makes and the one they are most grateful to have.

Battery-free, so the only thing that runs out is your patience.

Workflow Fit

Illustration and concept work on a GAOMON tablet that needs a spare pen. Retouching and photo editing where consistent pressure curves matter. Note-taking and online teaching where a charged battery is one more thing that can fail. Long studio sessions where a lighter, battery-free pen reduces strain on the hand and wrist.

Frequently Asked

Q: Which tablets does this pen work with?

GAOMON graphics tablets S620, S630, S830, M106KPRO, M10KPRO, M1220, 1230 and PD2200. It is not compatible with phones, PCs, iPads or tablets from other brands.

Q: Does it need charging?

No. The pen is battery-free and passive, drawing power from the tablet field, so there is nothing to charge and no battery to replace.

Q: How much pressure sensitivity does it have?

8,192 levels, which allows smooth, natural line variation from a light sketch to a firm stroke.

Q: Are spare nibs included?

Yes. Eight replacement nibs and a nib clip are included, so worn tips are a quick swap.

Q: Can I customise the buttons?

The pen has two programmable express keys that can be mapped to shortcuts, and the pen tip and buttons can work together for extra functions.

Q: Is it comfortable for long sessions?

A silicone grip covers the holding area and the battery-free build keeps the pen light, which reduces strain over extended drawing.

Q: How do I know when to replace the nib?

When the line starts to feather or the tip catches on the surface, swap in one of the eight included nibs. A nib that no longer glides is a worn nib.

Q: Is this an official GAOMON pen?

It is sold as the GAOMON ArtPaint AP32 and is listed for the GAOMON tablet models shown above. Check your tablet model against the compatibility list before ordering.

Check your tablet model first

Works great on my GAOMON tablet, but read the compatibility list before buying as it will not work on an iPad. The silicone grip helps in long sessions.

Perfect spare for my tablet

Bought this for my GAOMON tablet as a backup. It works exactly like the original and the eight spare nibs are a nice touch.

No charging, straight to work

Being battery-free means I simply pick it up and draw. The pressure range is smooth and the line goes from light to heavy naturally.
