Full lamination removes the air gap between glass and LCD, which is why the line appears to sit on the tip of the pen instead of floating beneath it. The stylus is the PW517, a battery-free electromagnetic resonance pen that needs no charging, reports at over 220 points per second, senses at up to 10mm above the surface, and reads 8192 pressure levels at a resolution of 5080 LPI, with up to 60 degrees of tilt for the broad, angled strokes that a hard round nib cannot produce.
