Description

Two Supplies, One Chassis. A bench that repairs phones, chargers, inverters or battery packs needs more than one rail, and buying two boxes costs twice and occupies twice the desk. This unit carries two independent outputs inside a single enclosure, so a 30V 10A repair and a 60V 10A formation job can sit side by side without a second power cord crossing the workspace.

Switch instead of re-cabling. Press INDEP and the two channels behave as separate 30V 10A supplies, which is what most board-level repair wants. Press SER and they stack into a single 60V 10A rail for work that needs the voltage. Press PAR and they parallel into 30V 20A when the job wants current rather than volts. The mode is a button on the front panel rather than a rewire behind the bench.

Regulated where it matters. This is a switch-mode supply with a rated capacity of 40 to 1000VA and an output power above 500W, with independent current and voltage regulation on each channel and a 50Hz output stage. The front-panel controls set voltage and current limits directly, so a shorted board draws the ceiling you chose instead of whatever the mains decides to give it.

Certified and fully specified rather than described in adjectives. CE, FCC and UL marks, model number YZA-SPS3010-2KD-5, supplied as 30V 5A, 30V 10A, 60V 5A and 120V 3A units in both dual and dual-plus configurations, with 110VAC or 220VAC input so the same listing serves a North American bench and a European one.

It is not a power brick with dials attached. It is the reference every other measurement on the bench gets taken against.

What the Regulator Delivers

  • ✦ Two independent regulated DC outputs inside one chassis
  • ✦ INDEP, SER and PAR mode switching at the press of a button
  • ✦ Independent mode gives two 30V 10A supplies, series gives 60V 10A, parallel gives 30V 20A
  • ✦ Output power above 500W with a rated capacity of 40 to 1000VA
  • ✦ Separate voltage and current regulation on each channel
  • ✦ CE, FCC and UL certified for workshop and laboratory use
  • ✦ Configurations from 30V 5A up to 120V 3A, in dual and dual-plus builds

Where the Bench Regulator Works

Four kinds of bench buy this unit. The phone and laptop repair shop needs two clean rails for board-level work and a current limit that protects a shorted rail while it thinks. The battery workshop needs serial and parallel modes to form and charge packs at the voltages the chemistry actually asks for. The electronics laboratory and the teaching bench need a certified supply with documented regulation rather than a generic brick, because the measurement record matters as much as the measurement. The industrial maintenance shop needs one box to test sensors, relays, PLC inputs and DC motors across a range of nominal voltages. Electroplating and anodising setups also appear in the manufacturer's own application list, alongside LED lamp inspection and home appliance repair, so the envelope is wider than repair work alone.

Bench Questions

Q: What does the INDEP, SER and PAR switching actually change?

A: INDEP keeps the two channels separate, giving you two 30V 10A supplies you can use on unrelated jobs at the same time. SER connects them in series for a single 60V 10A rail. PAR connects them in parallel for a single 30V 20A rail. The change is a front-panel button, not a re-cabling job.

Q: Which configuration should I choose?

A: Match the variant to the highest voltage and current your most demanding job needs. 30V 10A covers most board-level repair and general electronics. 60V 5A suits higher-voltage equipment and pack work. 120V 3A is for the smallest set of high-voltage, low-current tasks. If you are unsure, tell us what you repair and we will point at one.

Q: Is the current limit adjustable, or is it fixed?

A: Both voltage and current are regulated and settable independently on each channel. That is the point of a bench supply over a fixed adapter: you decide the ceiling a shorted board is allowed to draw.

Q: Can it charge batteries?

A: It can supply a regulated voltage and current to a pack, and the manufacturer lists rechargeable battery work among the applications. It is not a battery management system, so lithium packs still need their own protection board and you should not rely on it for cell balancing.

Q: Does the 110VAC variant work in a 220VAC country?

A: No. Order the input voltage that matches your wall supply. Both are stocked, and the variant name carries the input option, so read it before you add to cart.

Q: What certifications does it carry?

A: CE, FCC and UL are listed for this model. If you need the certificate numbers for an inspection, ask our merchandising desk and we will request them from the supplier.

Q: Is it suitable for electroplating?

A: The manufacturer lists electroplating among the intended applications, and the dual output plus adjustable current limit suits it. Tell us the tank size and the current you run at and we will confirm the variant is the right one before you order.

Q: What happens if I short the output?

A: The current limit you set is what the supply delivers, which is the protection mechanism on a bench supply of this class. Set the limit before connecting the load, and treat the supply as you would any laboratory instrument.

Certification made it usable in our workshop

Our compliance process needs CE, FCC and UL evidence for bench equipment, and this listing gave us the paperwork trail instead of a mystery box. It runs two independent repair jobs at once without interference between channels, which is exactly what the specification promised.

Good supply, fan is audible under load

Output is clean and the current limit behaves exactly as expected when I short a board on purpose. Only complaint is the fan ramps audibly when both channels pull hard, which matters in a quiet lab. Otherwise no faults after two months of daily use and the 120V variant is the one I needed for older equipment.

Replaced two bench supplies with one box

I was running a 30V 10A unit and a separate 60V supply for pack work. This does both, and the parallel mode gets the pack charging current I could not reach before. The regulation is steady under load and the knobs have enough travel to set a limit precisely. Desk is finally clear.
