Description
Punch Is a Number, Not a Feeling. A short course buggy that sags halfway down the straight is not losing to the other car, it is losing to its own battery. The 130C rating on this pack exists for that moment. Discharge stays above ninety percent of capacity even at a full C rate, which is what separates a pack that holds voltage under load from one that only quotes a capacity figure on the label.
The numbers underneath are compact and honest. Two cells in series at 7.6V nominal, 9200mAh of capacity, a hardcase footprint of 138 by 47 by 25 millimetres and 318 grams on the scale. The 5mm bullet connector and the hardcase shell suit 1/10 scale buggies, truggies, short course trucks and offroad boats, where the pack lives inside a chassis that gets landed hard and packs get swapped between heats. The case protects the cells from the impacts the hobby inflicts on them.
Handling is part of the specification, not an afterthought. Charge no higher than 4.20V per cell and use balance mode, keep the cell difference inside 0.03V, charge between 15 and 35 degrees Celsius, and do not run the pack below 3.4V per cell, with 3.6V as the sensible floor. Store at 3.85V per cell between 3-month maintenance cycles in a dry place between minus 20 and plus 40 degrees Celsius. Respect those numbers and the pack delivers its rating for season after season.
The lap you lose is usually the one your battery gave away.

Who Runs This Pack
This is the pack for racers and bashers running 1/10 scale electrics who want a full heat without voltage sag. Club racers buy them in pairs so two packs cover a race day and one sits on the charger in storage mode. Bashers and crawler owners choose the harder case because it survives a chassis that lands badly. Boat and truck drivers pick the higher C rating for the surge current a heavy model demands on launch. Buying in quantities of four or six lowers the cost per pack, which matters if you are running a fleet of club cars or teaching a junior class where every car needs its own battery.
Racer Questions
Q: How many packs should I order?
A: Two packs will get most racers through a club day with one charging while the other runs. Four or six packs suit families, clubs and schools where several cars run at once, and the higher quantities reduce the cost per pack.
Q: Can I use it in a 3S application?
A: No. This is a 2S pack at 7.6V nominal. Running an electronic speed controller configured for 3S on a 2S pack is fine electrically, but the vehicle will be slower, and running a 2S pack where the speed controller expects a minimum of 3S can trigger a low voltage cut off.
Q: Will it fit my buggy?
A: The pack is 138 by 47 by 25 millimetres and weighs 318 grams. Measure your battery tray before ordering, since the hardcase is slightly larger than a soft pack of the same capacity.
Q: How should I store it in winter?
A: Take the pack down to 3.85V per cell for storage, keep it dry and within minus 20 to plus 40 degrees Celsius, and run a charge and discharge maintenance cycle roughly every three months. That routine is what keeps a pack close to its rating next season.
Q: Does the 130C rating mean I need a high current speed controller?
A: The rating describes what the pack can deliver, not what must be drawn from it. A rating above the demand of your motor and speed controller gives you headroom, which is exactly how voltage sag is avoided on a heavy model.
