Description

A table set for six is a small piece of engineering. Everything has to stack, everything has to survive the dishwasher, and nothing can be so precious that a guest feels nervous holding it. The Felisa Table solves that equation with thirty pieces of fine porcelain: six dinner plates, six soup plates, six dessert plates, six cups and six saucers, finished in ivory white with a red stripe that reads as deliberate rather than decorative.

The body is fired at high temperature, which is what gives porcelain its density and its resistance to chipping at the rim. The set is certified lead and cadmium free and carries LFGB, SGS and CE/EU marks, the standards a commercial kitchen or a hotel purchaser will ask about before placing a repeat order. It moves from freezer to oven to microwave to dishwasher without a thermal argument, which is the practical reason restaurants standardise on fired porcelain instead of stoneware.

Weights are honest rather than approximate. The 9.75 inch dinner plate runs 660 grams, the 8.5 inch soup plate 431 grams, the 7.5 inch dessert plate 361 grams, the 4 inch cup 175 grams with a 200ml volume, and the 6 inch saucer 173 grams. That mass matters at the pass: heavier plates hold heat longer and do not skate across a stainless counter. The pigment printed stripe sits under the glaze, so cutlery does not scratch it away after a few hundred covers.

Good porcelain is quiet. It simply shows up, night after night, looking the same.

Where It Belongs

Restaurants, cafes and hotel breakfast rooms buy in sets because a broken pattern forces a whole table out of service. The thirty piece configuration covers a six top completely, so a single replacement order restores a full setting. At home the same logic applies for anyone who cooks for family on weeknights and for guests on weekends, and the stackable dimensions fit a standard cabinet without a second shelf being sacrificed.

Questions Buyers Ask

Q: Is this set really thirty pieces?

Yes. Six dinner plates, six soup plates, six dessert plates, six cups and six saucers, which is a complete cover for six people.

Q: Can the plates go from freezer to oven?

The porcelain is high temperature fired and rated for oven, freezer, microwave and dishwasher use. As with any ceramic, avoid a direct transfer from a deep freezer into a preheated oven with no intermediate step.

Q: Is the red stripe painted on top of the glaze?

The pattern is pigment printed and fired under the glaze, so metal cutlery does not wear it away and the surface stays smooth to the touch.

Q: What certifications come with the set?

The manufacturer lists LFGB, SGS, CE / EU, CIQ and EEC marks, and states the body is lead and cadmium free, which is the documentation commercial buyers request.

Q: Will the pieces chip in a commercial dishwasher?

Porcelain fired at high temperature resists rim chipping far better than low fired earthenware. Commercial machine cycles are within the rated use case.

Q: How much cabinet space does a full set take?

The plates stack flat and the cups nest, so a standard 60cm base cabinet holds all thirty pieces on one shelf.

Q: Do the cups hold heat long enough for tea or espresso?

The 4 inch cup holds 200ml and its wall thickness sits close to the plate range, so a drink stays warm through a normal service without preheating. For espresso the volume suits a ristretto or a macchiato rather than a lungo.

Q: Can I replace single plates without buying another set?

The Felisa pattern is listed as separate products in the same finish, so dinner, soup and dessert plates can be ordered individually to cover breakage without committing to a second thirty piece set.

Good daily set

Everyday use at home for four months. Cups are a sensible 200ml rather than the thimble size some sets ship with. One saucer arrived with a rough edge on the foot, but the rest of the set has been flawless and it stacks neatly in a standard cupboard.

Survived a commercial dishwasher

Six weeks in a cafe kitchen with a conveyor machine and no chipping, no fading on the stripe. That is the test that matters to me. The certification paperwork was in the box, which made our supplier audit easy.

Thirty pieces, all of them useful

Bought this to replace a mismatched collection and the set covers a full six top without me hunting for extra bowls. The plates have real weight to them, so food stays warm while I am plating, and the red stripe looks sharper in person than on screen.
